It all started with a small idea to expand our reach and help raise more funds…

Emily’s Entourage has so many ambassadors around the country who are true trailblazers. We considered how we could best turn the spotlight on them, recognize their philanthropic spirit and community involvement, and empower them to tap into their own personal networks. That’s what led us to create a new campaign specifically tailored to highlight and develop our young leaders.

Once the seed was planted, the idea gained momentum and grew into a full blown campaign that kicked off this fall.

After nominations were collected and initial invitations sent, we were ecstatic with the group of 10 inaugural Emily’s Entourage Champions that materialized in front of us. Read more about our 2015 Champions hier.

Each Champion was asked to leverage their individual connections and reach out to their personal networks in order to meet a fundraising goal of $1,500 by December 5th. We set up personal Fundly fundraising pages for each Champion, and they also used a combination of personal emails, social media posts, and creative ideas to reach out to their friends and family. Although EE provided support and resources, the options for fundraising were limitless and the success of the campaign was truly all theirs. And what a success it was!

We are thrilled to announce that the grand total raised by the 2015 Champions was a whopping $32,690!!!!! Quite simply, we are blown away and this astounding fundraising amount is a true testament to the power and passion of the spirited group we were honored to have as our first-ever Champions.

One Champion blew past the fundraising goal and individually raised an astounding $17,600! We were thrilled to honor Becca Denenberg as the 2015 Champion of the Year, just a small recognition for her incredible and touching achievement.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to the 10 spectacular individuals that made up our inaugural group and embodied the true meaning of a champion. We are grateful beyond measure for their tremendous efforts, creativity and overwhelming accomplishments!

The success of our 2015 Emily’s Entourage Champion program only further proves how a small seed planted among a committed, passionate group of go-getters can blossom into pure magic! And that’s why we’re beyond excited to announce that the Emily’s Entourage Champions will now be a staple feature at our annual Evening with Emily’s Entourage Gala!
