Nickie Boston, principal at Nickie Boston Consulting, develops marketing, public relations and creative strategies for clients in the retail, service, medical and food industries, specializing in product development, merchandising and brand design.
A serial entrepreneur with flair and vision, she co-founded Ma Jolie, a unique women’s retail/manufacturing business that she co-owned with her sisters for 19 years, and My Life Q, a website that visually curated QVC products.
Nickie’s network in and around Philadelphia runs broad and deep. She served as president of the Manayunk Development Corporation, where she helped spearhead the dramatic revitalization of Manayunk’s business district, cultivating strategic partnerships with industry, media and civic leaders.
Nickie met Emily when the self-assured 5-year-old was helping her mother shop for a dress at Ma Jolie’s Bala Cynwyd store. She has championed Emily’s cause ever since.
Nickie and her husband, Len Buckley, have a son, Philip, and twin daughters, Alexandra and Claudia. She is thrilled to bring her creative energy and entrepreneurial expertise to Emily’s Entourage.
ג'ואן דנברג
Joan runs Denenberg Communications, a highly specialized marketing firm which develops professional programs and special events for shopping centers, downtown districts, real estate developers, retailers and non-profits. She has been involved in shopping center marketing since graduating from Boston University in 1982.
Joan is also a past executive board member and current board member of Har Zion Temple. She and her husband David are part of The Bridge, a giving circle with Jewish Family Children Service, and they co-chaired their gala in 2011. She is passionate about helping to raise awareness and funds to send teens on peer-to-peer experiences in Israel.
Joan is married to David Denenberg and they are the proud parents of Jesse and Becca.

Nick has been a longtime friend and supporter of Emily and Emily’s Entourage. He attended middle school, high school, and college with Emily, both graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007.
As an undergraduate, Nick majored in finance at the Wharton School of Business. He then went on to earn his MBA from Villanova University in 2015. Nick currently lives in Philadelphia where he is an Associate at Davenport Investments and oversees all real estate investments for the firm.

Nancy is the Chief Development Officer of JEVS Human Services. Previously, she served as the Associate Director of the Gerda and Kurt Klein Foundation, an organization dedicated to sharing the Kleins’ message of tolerance, acceptance and hope with youth throughout the country. Prior to coming on board as Chief Development Officer, Nancy served on the JEVS Human Services Board of Directors.
In her volunteer life, Nancy worked with the Jewish community through her involvement with the Jewish Federation of North America and the local Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. She is co-founder of the Acharai Fund, Fox’s Fight to raise funds and awareness for melanoma research, and serves on the Leadership Council of the Abramson Cancer Center at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Nancy is a graduate of Harvard University and lives in Merion, Pennsylvania with her husband, Robert. She is mother to Rebecca and Ken Starr and Emily Fox and grandmother to Annabelle Lily and Alexander Beau Starr.

Michael graduated with a BA in psychology from Colgate University. He then earned a PhD in Developmental and Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois-Chicago. He completed a pre- and post-doctoral internship at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center-Westchester Division. Michael then completed the Executive MBA program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Michael has been a clinical psychologist for over 30 years. He has spent the past 20 of them as a business executive running large national organizations with a focus on helping individuals receive high quality care. Currently Michael is the President of PerformCare, a national behavioral health company assisting Medicaid recipients.
Michael is a founding member of Emily’s Entourage and the proud father of Emily, Coby, Julia and Annie.
ליזה קרמר, MSW
Liza graduated from Colgate University in 1978. She received her master’s degree in social work from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois.
Before leaving the professional workforce to raise four kids, Liza worked as a teacher and at a variety of social service agencies helping children and families with special needs and delinquency. She had a particular interest in at-risk juveniles and worked closely with the juvenile court system.
Since co-founding Emily’s Entourage in 2011, Liza has worked tirelessly to help run and oversee all aspects of the foundation.
Liza is the proud mother of Emily, Coby, Julia and Annie.
קובי קרמר-גולינקוב
קובי Kramer-Golinkoff holds a BSM from Tulane University and an MSE from Johns Hopkins University School of Education. After graduating, קובי joined Teach For America and taught five years in under-resourced communities in New Orleans and New York City.
Currently, קובי is a consultant at Sachs Policy Group, a boutique healthcare strategy and policy consulting firm in New York City. In this role, he consults with a range of clients across all verticals of healthcare, with a particular focus on technology-enabled companies and startups.
קובי is a founding member of Emily’s Entourage and co-chair of EENY, the organization’s annual New York event. He is perpetually training for his first marathon with his sister (and unofficial EE president), Annie Kramer-Golinkoff, on behalf of Emily’s Entourage.
אמילי קרמר-גולינקוב, MBE
As an adult with cystic fibrosis, Emily is both the inspiration behind and co-founder of Emily’s Entourage. She is also an internationally recognized patient advocate and speaker with a professional background in digital health innovation and marketing.
Emily has a master’s degree in bioethics and certification in clinical ethics mediation from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also completed her undergraduate degree. She has given talks at The White House, TEDx, University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg School for Communication Commencement, Stanford University’s Medicine X Conference, and more.
Emily was named a “Champion of Change” for President Obama’s Precision Medicine Initiative and is the recipient of the 2020 Philadelphia Magazine Luminary Award and the 2016 Global Genes Rare Champion of Hope for Advocacy Award.

Beth graduated in 2006 with a degree in French from the University of Pennsylvania, where she met Emily through their involvement in Sigma Delta Tau Sorority. After graduating, Beth lived in Philadelphia and worked at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Beth currently resides in her hometown of New Orleans, LA with her husband Austin and works as a Development Officer for Tulane University Law School. Additionally, Beth is pursuing her MBA part-time at the Tulane Freeman School of Business and is involved with local nonprofits such as the Emerging Philanthropists of New Orleans, a young professionals giving circle.
Beth has been excited to help out and witness the amazing work being done by the Emily’s Entourage organizers and supporters at Tulane University. Rarely a day goes by without spotting an EE tank on campus or in her neighborhood!
Jessica Rutstein Lazarus, PsyD
Jessica grew up in Lower Merion, where she first met Emily when they attended middle school together. She currently resides on the Main Line with her husband, Jordan, and works as a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist at a private practice in Northeast Philadelphia.
She attended Lower Merion High School with Emily and graduated in 2003. Jessica graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude with a BA in psychology from The George Washington University in 2007. She concentrated in Developmental Psychology and was a part of both the University’s and Psychology Department’s Honors Programs. She then earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University in 2012. She concentrated in Neuropsychology and completed pre-doctoral neuropsychology internship training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Her post-doctoral neuropsychology fellowship was completed at the private practice of Malamut & Moss, PC in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. She also completed the School Psychology Certificate Program and is a Certified School Psychologist.
At Widener, Jessica was awarded the 2010 Suzanne Reed Price Neuropsychology Award and the 2011 Leadership and Citizenship Award. She received the 2012 Francis Field Memorial Award from the Philadelphia Neuropsychology Society for research related to her dissertation and her findings were also published in the journal HIV Medicine.

Greg is a principal at Deloitte Consulting LLP and leads the Firm’s US Life Sciences Consulting practice. In his role he is responsible for the delivery of all consulting services to the portfolio of life sciences clients, practice operations and the development of solutions, methods and research related to the transformation of life sciences companies.
Greg has more than 25 years of experience in the life sciences, process manufacturing, consumer and government sectors. His consulting career has spanned such topics as technology strategy, integration solution development and implementation of emerging and disruptive technology. His clients have included multinational pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemical manufacturing organizations where he successfully led consulting services in support of regulatory, clinical, commercialization and manufacturing operations.
Prior to his consulting career Greg held positions at a government research lab, where he led teams in the design and development of life support devices; and was a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania.
Greg holds an MS from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BSME from Drexel University.

A Bala Cynwyd resident, Gratz College graduate and Lower Merion High School alumna, Danielle is a proud lifelong Philadelphian. She is the current Assistant Director of Tribe 12, where she fosters Jewish community through matchmaking and singles programming. Danielle received her Masters in Jewish Studies from Gratz College in 2011. Before transitioning to her work in the Jewish community, Danielle was a congressional staffer for Senator Joseph Lieberman. Danielle has also trained as a mediator in the Harvard Negotiation and Nonviolent Communication (NVC) methods of facilitative mediation and is a member of the PA Council of Mediators.
Julie Wertheimer, MGA
Julie is the Deputy Director of Public Safety for the City of Philadelphia. Prior, she served as Pennsylvania Finance Director for Senator Arlen Specter’s 2010 re-election campaign, Assistant Budget Director for the City of Philadelphia, and Deputy Finance Director for Mayor Michael Nutter’s 2007 mayoral campaign.
Julie is native to the Philadelphia area. She grew up in Rydal, PA, and graduated from Abington Senior High School. She received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Diplomatic History, where she met Emily, and her Masters degree in Government Administration from the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania.
Julie was recently named one of the “most promising and impactful young people” in the city by LEADERSHIP Philadelphia’s Connectors and Keepers initiative. She is a member of PhillyCORE Leaders and a 2015 Fellow with the Philadelphia chapter of the New Leaders’ Council. In addition to Emily’s Entourage, Julie serves on boards and committees of several other non-profits, including as Vice President for Governance of the Spruce Foundation, as a founding member of Friends of Greenfield Elementary School, and with Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy. She is also an avid Phillies fan and frequent patron of many of Center City’s best restaurants, where she lives with her husband, Ben.

Doug is the Director of Communications & Development for Lower Merion School District in Ardmore, PA, where he oversees external and internal communications, government relations, strategic partnerships, special events and development for one of the nation’s top-rated public school systems. Prior to his work with the District, he spent four years with the National Basketball Association in New York, where he developed marketing strategies, events and community relations initiatives for the league and its teams. Young also served on the communications staff of former U.S. Senator Alan Cranston in San Francisco.
Young serves as the volunteer director of the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation, where he has helped direct philanthropic strategy with a particular focus on youth homelessness in Los Angeles. He serves on the board of the Education Foundation of Lower Merion and Bethel Academy. He was named one of 15 “Men to Watch” by Main Line Today Magazine and has been a keynote presenter for the Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association. He has twice earned the National School Public Relations Association’s highest honor for excellence in school communications. He is a past participant of the MIT-Harvard Program on Negotiation and Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Strategy in Action program.
