Emily and her family will be joined by EE’s Scientific Director Pete Haggie, PhD and EE’s Scientific Advisory Board Chair Kevin Foskett, PhD in hosting this event.
The reception aims to facilitate discussion and networking surrounding EE’s objective to accelerate breakthroughs and a cure for nonsense mutations of Cystic Fibrosis (CF).

NACFC , which is being held October 18-20 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, provides a collaborative and educational forum for all CF professionals to advance CF research and care. This meeting brings together scientists, clinicians, and caregivers from around the world to discuss the latest advances in CF research, care and drug development, and to exchange ideas about ways to improve the health and overall quality of life for people with CF.

This reception comes at a particularly timely point following EE’s 2018 Scientific Symposium, Terapeutisk utveckling för nonsensmutationer: Den sista gränsen för CF, on September 25 at The Wistar Institute in Philadelphia, PA. Still on cloud nine from the success of this “meeting of the minds” with preeminent CF researchers and companies from around the world, EE looks forward to continuing dialogue, collaboration, and creative problem solving to expedite the development of life-saving therapeutics for CF nonsense mutations.
